PURPOSE:
A fully qualified Boiler/Burner Service Technician will be responsible for performing start-up services, troubleshooting and repair activities on natural gas and light oil-fired industrial boilers at customer sites, located in the Ottawa, Ontario Region.

Starting at $40.00 to $50.00 per hour based on experience
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers as you professionally maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install commercial and industrial equipment for our customers.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
Must meet Company requirements with respect to general qualifications.
- Must have a Gas Fitter 1 license.
- OBT1 would be an asset.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.
- 2 - 5 yrs of field experience in service of commercial and industrial combustion equipment.
- Must be available to be on call for 1 week every 6 weeks.
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
- Bilingual would be an asset.
- Must have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/ electricity).
- Very punctual and dependable.
- Must be willing to wear Company provided uniform.
- Must have own tools.
