Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza maker / Line Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with food preparation. Your ability to create a welcoming environment will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for our patrons.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders in a friendly manner.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Help with food preparation and meal preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and dining area.
- Assist in food handling and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Provide information about menu items and specials, answering any customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
