We are seeking a highly skilled with atleast 4 years experience in I talian cuisine. A passionate Italian Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering authentic Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess extensive restaurant management experience, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of food preparation, safety, and service standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee kitchen operations, innovate menu offerings, and ensure an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Supervise and manage all kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain authentic Italian flavors and high-quality standards
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen budgets effectively
- Train and mentor team members to uphold hospitality standards and improve culinary skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health codes
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and a positive attitude
Skills
- must have experience with food & labour costs.
- must have administration knowledge ( comluters, excel etc)
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices
- Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on Italian cuisine preferred
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Exceptional skills in food service, hospitality, and guest relations
- Ability to oversee kitchen operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Passion for Italian culinary traditions combined with innovative thinking in menu development
