Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to ensure pristine grass areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for landscape tasks such as planting, pruning, and soil preparation.
- Maintain and operate equipment including mowers, walk-behind loaders, and snow plows to support year-round landscape care.
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote healthy growth.
- Assist with hardscape projects like installing walkways, patios, or retaining walls to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months and gardening activities throughout the year.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling landscaping machinery and tools to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and experience working with landscaping or construction equipment.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators or irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care techniques to maintain healthy landscapes.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, operating machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining equipment and completing tasks efficiently.
