Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders from the kitchen to guests
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience in hospitality or food industry roles that involve serving or customer interaction is advantageous
