Position Overview
We’re hiring skilled, dependable Movers to join our relocation team. You’ll work hands-on with senior clients and their families to pack, move, and re-settle homes with care. You’ll handle everything from disassembly and truck loading to careful furniture placement and reassembly, all while ensuring a smooth and supportive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lift and move items up to 75 lbs consistently (heavier items as team lifts)
- Wrap and pad furniture, secure loose items (e.g. lamps, plants, electronics)
- Disassemble/reassemble beds, tables, and unmount/mount basic electronics like TVs
- Load trailers with guidance from your team lead, ensuring items are stable and protected
- Safely transport items through elevators, stairwells, tight corridors, and into new homes
- Unload and place furniture based on floor plans or client instructions
- Follow direction from team leads and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude
- Provide excellent customer service and respectful interaction with seniors at all times
- Work calmly and professionally in occasionally high-pressure or emotional environments
- Stay on-site until the job is complete (some moves may run past scheduled hours)

- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in both fast-paced and emotionally sensitive settings

Requirements
- Clean criminal record check
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is a strong asset
- First Aid certification is an asset
- Previous moving experience is an asset but not required
- Available for full-time work, including some weekends and overtime as needed
