Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience hand-stretching pizza dough and working with a stone oven to prepare authentic Italian-style pizzas. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, and a commitment to producing high-quality food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Hand-stretch and shape pizza dough to achieve authentic texture and consistency.
- Operate a stone oven to bake Italian-style pizzas.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure product quality.
- Prepare ingredients and toppings as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Pizza Maker or in a similar kitchen role.
- Experience hand-stretching pizza dough and operating a stone oven.
- Knowledge of Italian-style pizza preparation techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
