We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting 3+ years
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking equipment and tools used in the food industry.
