We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in/check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits using Dentrix or similar software
- Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide information
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records
- Assist the dental team during procedures, including sterilization and preparation of instruments
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-treatment care instructions
- Manage billing, insurance claims, and payment processing efficiently
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, professional, and welcoming
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Dentally knowledge prefered but willing to train
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix
- Strong office experience, including familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to handle administrative tasks accurately while managing patient interactions
- Experience with medical or dental office software is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous but not required

Pay: $19.18-$31.61 per hour
