Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licenced 310S Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair and maintenance; previous Nissan or Inifiniti experience is an asset. This role requires the ability to work with both hand and power tools, perform heavy lifting, and provide excellent customer service. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. The compensation would be on a flat-rate/piece work basis.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to conduct repairs on various vehicle systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with advisors and management regarding vehicle status, repair needs, and service recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the dealership environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Licenced 310S Automotive Technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation related to automotive repair is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.
- PBS experience is an asset.
- Nissan or Infiniti experience is an asset.
