Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in commercial, ICI sheet metal installation. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read and interpret schematics and blueprints, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
Duties
- Install HVAC duct systems according to blue prints and technical drawings.
- Measure, cut and assemble sheet metal ductwork ensuring efficient installation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Ensure installation is up to building code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ductwork and HVAC systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer in a commercial/ICI setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, HVAC drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation procedures, and safety standards.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as metalworking equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.
- Commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
