Salon/Spa Systems Manager

Vitality Medi-Spa is seeking a Salon/Spa Systems Manager to join its highly specialized team of salon professionals in its downtown Doyle Street location in Halifax. The ideal candidate loves to have fun at work, is motivated to achieve big goals, is a great communicator, likes developing people and enjoys a fast-paced environment. The position assists in the oversight of a team of people, their professional development, contributing to salon sales goals, and working within budgets.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Proven ability to drive amazing customer experiences and results through team development.
- Ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a fast-paced service and retail environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Some evening and weekend availability.
- Proficiency in Email, Internet and Excel.
- Salon experience an asset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking exceptional care of clients
- Assist in growing and developing the team
- Ensure salon compliance standards are followed
- Ensuring inventory and other operational procedures are in line
- Drive service and retail sales while ensuring the best client experience
- Track and analyze sales reports
- Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions
- General salon operations such as booking appointments, inventory, cleaning, etc.
