Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Worker/Material Handler at our trucking company, you will be a key player in our logistics team, focusing on the manual handling and organization of freight.
Responsibilities:
Freight Handling:
- Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate methods to prevent shifting during transit.
- Palletize loose boxes and securely wrap them for stability.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against bills of lading and packing slips.
Warehouse Organization & Safety:
- Accurately sort and label freight according to destination, service type, or special handling instructions.
- Stage sorted freight in the designated outbound area for driver pickup.
Administrative Duties:
- Assist in checking and documenting the condition of freight, reporting any visible damage or issues.
- Affix shipping labels and documentation to appropriate parcels and pallets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Punctual and responsible.

Pay: $21.84-$25.89 per hour
