Who are we looking for?
Job Purpose:
Complete warehouse processes from receipt of goods to order fulfillment. This role operates primarily in a warehouse environment with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety training are provided. The position requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as regular bending, standing, walking, and physical movement throughout the shift. The role also involves operating a pump truck and other warehouse equipment and supporting the loading and unloading of trucks.
Duties:
- Receive products from numerous suppliers, from individual packages to truckload quantities. Follow established protocols for unloading, counting, damage reports (as needed) to enter goods into inventory. Restock product into established locations.
- Prioritize and prepare customer orders for fulfillment , picking stock and compiling for shipment, from individual packs to skid load quantities.
- Maintain the 30,000 sq ft of warehousing per company and industry guidelines. Maintains safe and clean work environment, complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Assist with walk-in customer orders as needed, in a customer focused busy environment.
Requirements:
· Strong communication skills and attention to detail (ability to maintain accuracy)
· Previous experience with receiving, picking and shipping orders
· Proficient computer skills
· Use of pallet trucks required, knowledge of electric pallet truck/stacker a benefit, but will train as needed.
· Previous knowledge of WHMIS and TDG beneficial but will train as needed.
· Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
