Budtender/Floater/ID-Checker
RUNDOWN:
To maximize sales of cannabis products to customers by providing advice, information, and instruction, while achieving excellence in sales and customer service. This is a 3-part role. Sales Associate, floater, and ID checker
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Sales Expectations
- Maximizes sales and awareness of promotional programs
- Identifies customers’ needs and sells through education
- Promotes sales of cannabis products; provides information on new or existing products
- encouraging customers to participate in the loyalty program
- Stay up to date with product knowledge.
- Ensuring everyone on the premises is legal age
- Maintaining inventory and stock room and reporting discrepancy right away
- Abide by company and provincial regulations for cannabis and associated products
- Complete task list assigned by Management Member and any other task as required
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers
- Provides superior customer service
- Builds customer loyalty by promoting Holland daze program
- Resolves customer complaints within guidelines
OPERATIONS
- Exhibits and promotes the company’s products and services and provides information to interested parties
- Attends education sessions and learn through other online offerings to ensure product knowledge is current and up to date ie. YouTube, etc.
- Adheres to Holland Daze operation standards
- Demonstrates a professional image, including clean and complete image guidelines, uniform with name badge
- Ensure workplace is clean, organized, and ready for business at all times.
GENERAL
- Complies with all health and safety regulations
- Complies with all store and provincial policies and procedures
- Complies with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensures they are executed in the department
- Acts professionally at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
- Planning, Judgment and Decision Making
- Independent thinking and decision – making when dealing with customer issues and devise appropriate solutions
- Minimum age of 19
- CannSell Training Certificate (Must Have)
- Criminal Background Check
EXPERIENCE
- A good knowledge of various cannabis products
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Sales/Customer services related
- Commitment to providing excellence in customer service
- Punctual and reliable
- Customer service oriented
AVAILABILITY
- Has to be flexible which include weekends and evenings
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to climb ladder
- Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves
- Stand for a long period of time
