We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Commercial Truck Parts Advisor to join our team in Lethbridge. This role supports both our internal shop operations and our front parts counter by sourcing, ordering, receiving, organizing, and selling parts for commercial truck equipment builds, repairs, and modifications.
The ideal candidate has strong parts knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to provide timely, professional service to both internal technicians and external customers.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
Skills & Experience
- Experience in parts, inventory, purchasing, or counter sales in an automotive, heavy equipment, agricultural, or commercial truck environment
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, truck equipment, and related components
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand part applications and compatibility
- Ability to source parts, provide solutions, and support both internal and external customers
- Strong computer skills and comfort using ordering, inventory, and communication systems
- Experience with shipping, receiving, pricing, ordering, and inventory control
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly by phone, email, and in person
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and safely operate material handling equipment
Role Duties & Responsibilities
- Source, quote, order, receive, and organize parts for commercial truck equipment builds, repairs, and modifications
- Support technicians by ensuring required parts and components are available for shop work
- Serve customers at the parts counter and respond to parts inquiries by phone and email
- Identify parts, verify fitment, and provide timely solutions for both internal and external customers
- Maintain accurate inventory records, pricing, and order information
- Assist with shipping, receiving, stock organization, and inventory control
- Communicate with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Process parts requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Maintain an organized parts area and support a safe, efficient work environment
- Work collaboratively with shop staff, service personnel, and customers to keep projects moving
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on role that combines parts support, inventory handling, and customer service within a commercial truck shop environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable with:
- Lifting and moving parts up to 45 lbs repeatedly
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, squatting, and working in a shop environment
- Using computers and inventory systems for extended periods
- Safely operating material handling equipment as required

Pay: $29.00-$42.00 per hour
