We are seeking an outgoing, confident, and friendly individual to join our team as part-time Sales Representative at our rapidly expanding boxing gyms in East Vancouver and Port Coquitlam. If you love socializing and building connections with people and have a passion for boxing or combat sports, this position is perfect for you. As a Sales Representative , you will play a vital role in ensuring our gym operates smoothly and our members have an exceptional experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Actively promote and sell memberships, introductory packages, and additional services to prospective members, ensuring their needs are met and providing guidance throughout the decision-making process.
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and online, following a detailed client journey to assist members with their inquiries, registrations, and bookings.
- Conduct gym tours, showcasing the facilities and providing very basic boxing instruction to beginners.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Manage general administrative duties for day-to-day operations, including maintaining task and lead lists, managing bookings, and updating member profiles.
- Utilize gym software, WellnessLiving and technology such as Google Sheets efficiently, or be eager to learn, to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized gym space, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all visitors.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Previous customer service and sales experience is required, with a focus on delivering outstanding service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Comfortable with technology, including gym software, or willing to learn and adapt quickly
- Knowledge or experience in boxing or combat sports is preferred, but not necessary. Training will be provided to enhance your understanding of the sport.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and smooth operations.
- Driven to work independently, and collaboratively as a part of the team.
Schedule and Compensation:
- This is a part-time position consisting of 4-5 hour shifts on Tuesday and Thursday evening and Saturday and Sunday afternoon at our East Vancouver location.
- Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience ($18.50-$25/hour)
