Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Crew Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food industry. The ideal candidates will be friendly, reliable, and eager to provide excellent customer service while supporting daily restaurant operations.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and transactions
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Restock supplies and organize workstations for efficiency
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Support team members with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or cash handling is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is beneficial
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential
- Restaurant or food industry experience will help in adapting quickly to the role
