ACS Valves is a leading manufacturer of Rotary Airlock Valves and Gypsum Pin Mixers and has an immediate opening for a Radial Drill Press Operator.
Job Description
- Set up and operate radial drill press to perform machining operations
- Working with cast iron and stainless steel
- Read engineering drawings and work orders
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Work safely at all times and maintain a safe work area
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Overhead crane/jib experience an asset
- Able to read blueprints and work orders
- Good attention to detail
- Previous experience with parts in an industrial setting is an asset
- Able to work individually and as a part of a team
Schedule:
- Permanent full time position, Days only
- 8 hour shift Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm
- Overtime available
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
