Operator
Safely perform all tasks related to the Operator position, as described in the following section.
If you are a candidate that does not live near Mansonville, we would be open to discussions regarding relocation within the province of Quebec.
Primary Responsibilities

Ensure that safety standards are followed daily and that housekeeping is completed in all production areas related to this position.

Follow existing procedures (ISO, JSA, LOTO, etc.).

Coordinate daily tasks with the Assistant Operator.

Plan lunch, dinner, and break times with the Assistant Operator.

Operate the reactors at maximum capacity while maintaining safety, product quality, and performance.

Ensure that each workstation (packaging station, helper/assistant, and WWT) is operating properly.

In the event that immediate supervision is not available on site, the Operator is responsible for daily activities and regular decision-making. Otherwise, the on-call supervisor/manager or the most available person must be contacted.

Maintain good communication between the outgoing and incoming Operators. Also, ensure clear communication among all personnel on site.

Accurately and legibly complete process sheets.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly control sheets as required.

Submit maintenance requests to the maintenance department when needed.

Enter data into the computer system and update relevant reports.

Maintain an inventory of all products related to the Operator’s workstation.

Implement and support new projects.

Provide training for the Assistant Operator and Operator positions.

Complete all checklists related to the position.

Conduct the assigned 5S audit in their designated area every Sunday. Maintain 5S standards at their workstation (min/max, tool organization, cleanliness, etc.).

Provide coverage for other positions during vacation or absence periods (coater, helper, and assistant).

Perform any other related duties as requested or as required within the scope of competence.
Qualifications
5 to 10 years of experience as an Operator or in a similar role.
Ability to work with minimal supervision (leadership skills).
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Safety-oriented attitude and strong attention to quality.
Knowledge of mechanics and computers is considered an asset.
