Job Summary
As a Shift Manager, you play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety. You will lead and support team members, oversee daily operations, and partner with the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant performance.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Team
- Supervise, coach, and support team members during shifts
- Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide real-time feedback
- Assist with training and development of staff
Drive Operational Excellence
- Oversee restaurant operations during peak periods and in the absence of the General Manager
- Ensure food quality, service, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Complete daily checks, audits, and shift reports (e.g., line checks, Steritech, Restaurant Excellence Walks)
Deliver Great Guest Service
- Model strong customer service and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Support ongoing guest service training for the team
Support Food & Safety Standards
- Assist with food preparation as needed while following all food safety protocols
- Maintain a safe environment through hazard awareness, training, and follow-up
- Support accident reporting and documentation processes
Manage Inventory & Maintenance
- Perform inventory counts and help monitor waste
- Coordinate repairs for equipment or facility issues
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
