Job Summary - Live In Position
The Residence Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring a high standard of living for residents while maintaining efficient property management practices. This position requires a blend of administrative skills, customer service expertise, and property management knowledge to foster positive relationships with residents and enhance their living experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Utilize Resman software for property management tasks including data entry and customer relationship management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property and units to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate repairs through your Regional Team.
- Maintain accurate records through filing systems and data entry processes.
- Complete lease agreements and renewals with prospective tenants while maintaining positive relationships with current residents.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when communicating with residents, vendors, and potential clients.
- Leasing units, collecting rent, security deposits, screening applicants, assisting applicants and tenants with our online payment system.
- Submitting daily, weekly or monthly reports including vacancy reports, yard logs and purchase orders
- Daily cleaning of lobbies, hallways, rental office and unit cleaning.
- Painting and minor maintenance helpful, lawn care including weeding, trimming trees and cutting grass.
- Daily garbage pick up, snow removal in the winter.
- On-call during evenings & weekends for emergencies.
Experience
- Proven office experience with a focus on administrative tasks in a property management setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Resman or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Strong background in customer service, sales, and negotiation skills to effectively manage resident relations.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette are essential for success in this role.
