Welcome to Mind + Kids Zen Counselling! We are registered social workers providing a safe space for adults to receive support in person and virtually.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a dynamic social worker or psychotherapist with experience to join our team to provide counselling and support to clients. As an affiliate of Mind + Kids Zen Counselling you will have the opportunity to work your own hours while getting support for marketing, invoicing, and peer support. All affiliates are set up with a Jane account to utilize for their caseload which allows for HIPPA/PHIPA compliant virtual care, documentation and billing, as well as an on site debit/credit terminal. You will be supported with monthly clinical huddles to review cases and connect with other therapists.
Duties:
As a part of our team you will:
- Connect with clients to schedule appointments
- Maintain clinical notes
- Provide counselling services
- Collaborate when necessary with community collaterals.
Requirements:
- Registered in good standing with the OCSWSSW
- Obtain your own practice insurance
- Clinical experience
- Be available to work evenings and some weekends if desired

Ability to commute/relocate:
- St. Thomas, ON N5P 2V1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Master's Degree (required)
Experience:
- Therapists & Counsellors: 1 year (required)
