D2 Build Inc, a busy and fast-growing Toronto-based residential general contractor, is looking to add an experienced Carpenter / Interior Renovator / Finisher to our team. Expertise in framing, trim, carpentry, drywall repair/skim work, paint, and finishing is a definite asset.
The ideal candidate will bring the experience and skill set required to be involved in various phases in the scope of work on our projects to help ensure that we deliver a superior service to our clients on time and on budget.
Can start immediately.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience.
* Plan reading, interpretation, and take-off abilities are an asset.
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Must already be a permanent resident of Toronto or GTA.
* Must have own vehicle and basic tools.
* Demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, sub-trades and customers.
* Must be able to take initiative and be a good problem solver.
* Punctual and reliable.
* Fine attention to detail.
* Smart phone (for communication, connection to in-house project managment software, taking work-in-progress photos).
* Sustained periods of standing, sitting, bending and kneeling
* Occasional working at heights greater than 5 ft.
