Seeking position: HVAC repair and maintenance
JW Plumbing & Heating Inc. is seeking a LICENSED HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Montreal, QC.
Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all types of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. The technician maintains the systems to ensure that they are in good working order. The HVAC Service Technician ensures that all parts of the systems are clean and free from debris. The technician ensures that the equipment is properly maintained, repairs are performed according to company standards, and all costs associated with the services are met.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
- Valid driver’s license;
- CCQ union membership (preferrably)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs routine maintenance and repairs on all types of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems;
- Performs basic troubleshooting and diagnostic duties on heating, cooling, and plumbing systems; repairs are made as needed by following Company or manufacturer’s instructions;
- Inspects system for leaks or damage and reports any defects or safety hazards; replaces or repairs as necessary;
- Repairs systems as needed by following Company or manufacturer’s instructions; replaces or repairs as necessary;
- Ensures that all parts of the systems are clean and free from debris; reports any defects or safety hazards;
- Maintains records of warranty or contract services performed. (This includes but is not limited to service calls, service records, service call logs, repair work orders, warranty claims)
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $25.63-$43.89 per hour
