Summary
We are seeking a Material Handler (Loader) to join our team in Canada. Based in Brampton, this role is vital in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of materials, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality steel structures for diverse projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib crane safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper shipping and receiving procedures.
- Assist with warehouse organization and management.
- Support construction activities by handling materials as needed.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Prior experience in construction or steel industry is advantageous.
Work Schedule & Location:
- Location: Brampton
- Schedule: Day Shift – Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM – 6:15 PM and Night Shift - Monday to Thursday, 6:30 PM - 6:15 AM
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs
