Consumer Genius Inc. (CGI) is a Calgary-based performance marketing and lead generation company. We own and operate a portfolio of market-leading brands across Insurance, Consumer Finance, B2B, and Home Services, generating high-intent customer enquiries across North America and Europe.
We work with well-known brands and enterprise clients who expect clear communication, accuracy, and a fast turnaround at every stage. This role is one of the first points of contact for our business, and needs to reflect the standards and values we hold ourselves to.
2026 has been a strong year for Consumer Genius, as we have launched into new verticals and regions with a number of market-leading clients. As we continue to grow at pace, we are now looking for a talented Project Manager, Buyer Onboarding & Launch to own our onboarding and launch process from end to end, ensuring every new partnership goes live to a consistently high standard.
What We're Offering You
- Compensation: Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience, with scope to grow as the role and pipeline expand.
- Ownership: A genuinely end-to-end role. You own each buyer launch from the first handoff through to go-live, with real accountability for the outcome.
- Variety: You will always be managing several buyers at once, each at a different stage, across different verticals and geographies (Canada, US, UK).
- Cross-Functional Exposure: Direct working relationships with Compliance, Dev, Media Buying, and the Co-Founders themselves.
- Future Growth: Clear visibility into a scaling business, with progression opportunities as CGI's buyer roster and vertical footprint grow.
- Work Environment: A fast-paced, no-nonsense team where getting things done is valued over ceremony.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly organised, execution-focused Project Manager who can juggle multiple launches at once without losing track of any of them.
- Own the Launch: Take ownership of a new buyer relationship immediately following the initial deal call, and drive it through to launch.
- Manage Contracts: Work with Compliance to get contracts drafted, reviewed, and executed.
- Coordinate Specs: Work with Dev to obtain and confirm posting specs for each buyer.
- Gather Creative Requirements: Work directly with the buyer to collect and clarify their creative guidelines.
- Brief the Team: Communicate creative guidelines and buyer requirements clearly to the media buying team, so campaigns are built correctly the first time.
- Track Every Open Item: Keep contracts, specs, and creative moving on schedule, proactively flagging delays or blockers before they become problems.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate across Compliance, Dev, Media Buying, and Management to keep everyone aligned on status and next steps.
- Confirm Go-Live: Verify the buyer is live and receiving leads as expected before considering the launch complete.
- Hand Off Cleanly: Hand off each completed buyer to management with a clear account summary, then move on to the next buyer in the pipeline.
- Manage the Pipeline: Run multiple buyer launches concurrently, each at a different stage, without anything falling behind.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience: Background in project management, account management, or client/partner onboarding, ideally within performance marketing, lead generation, or a similarly fast-moving vertical.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Proven experience coordinating across legal/compliance, technical/dev, and creative teams to launch a client or partner.
- Organisation & Resilience: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, comfortable running several workstreams at once in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong Communication: Confident communicator able to translate clearly between buyers, compliance, dev, and media buyers so nothing gets lost in handoff.
- Execution Focus: A closer, not an opener. You follow up until things are actually done, not just started.
- Commercial Awareness: Comfortable working in a regulated environment where compliance sign-off is a required step, not a formality.
- Work Authorisation: Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with CRM and project tracking tools (e.g., HubSpot, project trackers).
- Experience working across multiple countries or regulatory regimes (Canada, US, UK).
- Previous exposure to lead generation, affiliate, or performance marketing buyer relationships.
