Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Foreman/woman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will lead on-site teams, ensure adherence to safety standards, and maintain project timelines and quality. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in Excavation, Landscaping and Asphalt to manage daily operations effectively and deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities including Excavation, Water Works, Asphalt and Landscaping.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide on-site work
- Oversee quality control measures to meet industry standards and client expectations
- Manage on-site safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor project progress, update schedules and report on milestones
- Provide supervision for on-site staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 10+ Years in a Supervisor Role in Civil Construction) supervising construction projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations in construction environments
- Skilled in budgeting and construction estimating processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project planning methodologies
Pay: $36.50-$45.85 per hour
