We are looking for a passionate Pastry Chef to join our team. This role goes beyond baking — you will help us develop new desserts, create seasonal menu items, and bring fresh ideas that fit our brand direction.

Duties
- Bake cakes, pastries, bread, and signature desserts
- Develop and test new menu items and seasonal creations
- Create visually appealing desserts with strong presentation standards (social-media friendly)
- Decorate cakes and desserts using artistic and modern plating techniques
- Assist with food preparation (mixing, slicing, assembling, recipe testing)
- Adapt and refine recipes based on feedback and brand direction
- Ensure all food safety and cleanliness standards are followed
- Work with the team to brainstorm and execute new dessert concepts
- Provide friendly customer service and assist with product recommendations
- Work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality and consistency
Skills
- Experience in baking, pastry, or dessert production
- Strong ability in cake/dessert decorating and presentation
- Creative mindset with ability to develop new menu ideas
- Background in food industry or café/restaurant environment preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to test, adjust, and improve recipes
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in plating and aesthetics
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Friendly, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude
- Passion for dessert trends, café culture, and visual food presentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
