The Lubrication Technician is responsible for performing daily maintenance routines for lubricating all facility equipment, ensuring that the correct oils and greases are applied to each piece of machinery. This role requires close attention to detail, monitoring for abnormalities such as noise, wear, vibration, and heat, and reporting any issues to the maintenance team for follow-up. The position also involves oil and vibration analysis, record-keeping, and effective communication to prevent equipment breakdowns and support overall operational efficiency.
§ · High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
MManaging and ordering lubrication products to maintain sufficient stock levels and ensure timely availability. It also includes organizing inventory locations for easy access to oils, greases, and other related supplies.
§ Operating filtration equipment to ensure the quality of oil and grease, performing grease re-lubrication using both manual and automatic dispensing systems, and maintaining the proper functioning of dispensing equipment and automatic lubrication systems.
§ Labeling and tagging reservoirs, equipment, and inventory for proper identification and tracking. It also includes collecting, labeling, and scheduling oil and vibration samples for analysis, while ensuring all relevant details are documented.
