This position requires travel to client locations throughout the GTA. When there are no scheduled onsite visits, you will work from our office or remotely while providing technical support to clients.

We are a growing Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) supporting businesses throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our experienced remote engineering team provides advanced technical support, while our Canadian Field Technicians deliver professional onsite service to our clients.
We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Junior IT Support Technician who enjoys working with technology, travelling to client locations, and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing onsite IT support to our clients across the GTA. You'll work closely with our remote engineering team, acting as their onsite hands by installing equipment, troubleshooting hardware, and assisting users with technology issues.
When there are no scheduled onsite visits, you will provide remote technical support from the office by assisting clients over the phone, email, and remote support tools.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of field work and remote support while building a long-term career in IT.
Key Responsibilities
Onsite Support
- Travel to client locations throughout the GTA
- Install and deploy desktop computers, laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and scanners
- Replace computers and other IT equipment
- Perform workstation setups, office moves, and equipment installations
- Connect network devices and perform basic network troubleshooting
- Assist remote engineers during onsite support visits
- Test equipment and verify successful installations
- Document completed work and update service tickets
- Deliver professional, friendly, and courteous customer service
Remote Support (When No Onsite Work Is Scheduled)
- Answer client inquiries by telephone, email, and remote support tools
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printer, and network issues
- Provide technical support to end users in a timely and professional manner, both remotely and onsite
- Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Assist users with Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office applications, and other common business software
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required
- Maintain accurate documentation within the ticketing system
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of IT support experience or a recent IT graduate with relevant hands-on experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience installing and troubleshooting desktop computers, laptops, monitors, and printers
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and switches)
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, including user account administration, password resets, group membership, and computer management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams for chat, voice, video meetings, screen sharing, and collaboration.
- Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute (WPM) with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation of all support activities
- Comfortable working in a collaborative remote support environment using Microsoft Teams and a professional ticketing system
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (up to 25 kg / 55 lbs)
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence
- Reliable personal vehicle required
- Willing to travel daily throughout the GTA
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Microsoft certifications are an asset
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Experience supporting Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft hardware
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 administration
