Position Summary
The employer partner is seeking a Server Assistant to support the Front of House team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring guests receive prompt, professional, and seamless service. Key Responsibilities
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to the correct guests.
- Maintain clean, organized dining areas and service stations throughout each shift.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
- Ensure condiments, beverages, and service supplies are stocked and prepared.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving guests.
- Communicate effectively with servers and hosts to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Respond to guest requests and answer basic questions about menu items and restaurant services.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Empty garbage, replace linen bags, and assist with general cleaning duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn about food and beverage offerings.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
