Position: Production Scheduler (Nuclear)
Location: Tiverton, ON (2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 24 months to start
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 p/h inc. + HST

Deliverables

Coordinate and oversee construction, maintenance, modification, and capital project execution activities across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines within a complex power generation environment.

Develop and maintain integrated work plans, project schedules, resource plans, and construction sequencing while coordinating labour, materials, equipment, site logistics, access requirements, and field execution activities.

Monitor project progress, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contractor performance by identifying risks, resolving field issues, supporting forecasting activities, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Support project and contract administration activities including procurement coordination, constructability reviews, contractor management, contract changes, invoice reviews, project documentation, and closeout while collaborating with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project stakeholders.
Experience Required

6–10+ years of experience coordinating construction, maintenance, modifications, or capital projects within power generation, nuclear, industrial, utilities, or other complex infrastructure environments.

Post-secondary technical education (three-year diploma), recognized skilled trades apprenticeship, or equivalent combination of education and practical field experience in construction, engineering, maintenance, or project execution.

Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, field coordination, contractor oversight, construction readiness, constructability reviews, procurement support, contract administration, cost control, schedule management, and multidisciplinary project execution.

Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, construction procedures, schedules, work packages, contract documents, and applicable industry codes and standards while supporting safe and efficient field execution.

Excellent communication, planning, stakeholder management, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with relevant trade certification, project management, construction management, or safety certifications considered strong assets.
