Position Overview
We are an Audio Visual and Network Infrastructure installation company specializing in enterprise retail and hospitality environments across Canada. We are currently seeking a reliable, hands-on Field Technician to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical installation experience who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and delivering high-quality installations for commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure commercial AV systems including:
- TV displays
- LED walls
- Audio systems
- Digital signage
- Video conferencing equipment
- Perform structured network cabling installations and terminations
- Install and organize network racks and infrastructure
- Conduct site preparation, cable routing, labeling, and testing
- Troubleshoot AV and network connectivity issues onsite
- Work closely with project managers and team members to complete installations efficiently and professionally
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Travel to client locations throughout the GTA and occasionally across Canada for project deployments
Requirements
- Experience with commercial AV installations and structured cabling
- Familiarity with:
- TV and display mounting
- LED wall installations
- Audio visual systems
- Network rack buildouts
- Cat6/fiber cabling standards
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism onsite
- Ability to lift and move equipment safely
- Comfortable working at heights when required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required for commuting to work
- Ability to travel for out-of-town projects as needed
Assets / Nice to Have
- Working at Heights certification
- Skylift / scissor lift certification
- Experience working in retail or hospitality environments
- Network testing and certification experience
- Basic networking knowledge

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
