Edgewood Manufactured Home Park on Alcan Frontage road in Fort St John is looking for a Maintenance manager (Part-Time)
Location: Edgewood Mobile Home Park – Baldonnel, BC
Pay: Competitive monthly compensation plus additional hourly/project work. The starting wage is $25 per hour, depending on experience.
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated Maintenance Manager to oversee the water and sewer systems at a well-maintained mobile home park in Baldonnel, BC.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, coordinating contractors, and ensuring essential infrastructure operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect the park's water system, including pumps, filters, pressure tanks, UV systems, and chlorine equipment.
- Collect and deliver monthly water samples to meet Northern Health requirements.
- Monitor water levels and drinking water quality.
- Inspect the sewer lift station, pumps, floats, compressors, and lagoons.
- Coordinate sewer testing and maintenance with contractors.
- Arrange and oversee contractors for snow removal, tree trimming, road maintenance, dump runs, landscaping, and other park maintenance.
- Purchase maintenance supplies as needed (company reimbursed).
- Respond to emergency water or sewer situations when required.
- Maintain communication with the Vancouver management office.
Qualifications:
- Experience in property maintenance, utilities, water/sewer systems, or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to coordinate contractors and maintain accurate records.
