Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Casual/Part-Time Security Officer to join our team in Winnipeg. This role is vital in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier security solutions with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to security incidents.
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure safety.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activities.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Support the installation and maintenance of security equipment as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience or background in law enforcement or security roles.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV, and loss prevention techniques.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid security license or certification is preferred.
