About the Role
As an AZ/ARZ Sewer Rehabilitation Labourer, you will:
- Complete underground rehabilitation and lining projects safely and efficiently;
- Support field operations through equipment setup, confined space work, and hands-on labour tasks in a variety of job site conditions;
- Assist with infrastructure inspections, maintenance, and rehabilitation activities;
- Communicate effectively with crew members to support safe and efficient project completion;
- Transport and position company vehicles, trailers, and specialized equipment between job sites while supporting daily field operations;
- Set up traffic control plans, signage, and safety equipment in accordance with Book 7;
- Read and interpret infrastructure maps to locate, track, and complete project requirements;
- Complete operational documentation, assist with routine equipment maintenance, and help maintain safe and organized job sites.
About You
- Mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles;
- Valid AZ or ARZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract;
- Safety certifications including Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, and First Aid are considered assets;
- Experience working in construction, underground infrastructure, or other physically demanding outdoor labour environments preferred;
- Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physically demanding labour, including lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions;
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment, traffic control setups, and active construction or municipal job sites;
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including long days, night shifts, overtime, and out-of-town assignments;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a crew in fast-paced field environments.
