Ecollegey Organic Market is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Produce Stock Person to help maintain our fruit and vegetable department.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure produce displays are fully stocked, fresh, and attractive throughout the day
- Rotate stock using proper FIFO practices
- Monitor quality and remove damaged or unsellable products
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
- Replenish inventory from back stock as needed
- Assist with inventory counts and general store maintenance
- Work independently and proactively identify areas that need attention
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of fruits and vegetables is essential
- Experience in an organic grocery store is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Weekend availability is mandatory
