As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:

Preparation of stormwater management, other technical reports and project documentation;

Development of hydrologic and hydraulic models;
-
Assist with the engineering design of land development projects;
-
Review stormwater management design and calculations by designers and engineers;
-
Project management and scheduling of projects;
-
Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment;

Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs;
-
Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects;

Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed; and
-
Any other functions assigned as part of your employment.
To apply to this position, you should expect to have:

Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a focus on water resources;

An advanced degree in the field of Water Resources Engineering would be an asset;

Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario;

2-5 years of previous experience in the field of municipal engineering, stormwater management, water resources planning/engineering;

Proficient knowledge in the use of hydrotechnical modelling softwares such as PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, MIKE+, or Infoworks;

Proficient knowledge in the use of engineering softwares such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software;

Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills;

Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers;

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues; and

A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance.
