Business Development Representative – GTA
Shadings is seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Representative to support our continued growth across the Greater Toronto Area.
This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, building relationships within the architectural, design, and construction communities, and driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the GTA.
- Build relationships with architects, designers, builders, developers, and contractors.
- Conduct presentations, meetings, and showroom visits to promote Shadings' products and solutions.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Develop proposals and budgets in collaboration with internal teams.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and track opportunities through CRM.
- Represent Shadings at industry events and networking functions.
- Achieve and exceed sales and growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, outside sales, or account management.
- Proven ability to generate new business and achieve sales targets.
- Experience in the construction, architectural, design, or building products industry is an asset.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Compensation
- Base salary: $75 000.
- Uncapped commission structure
- Car allowance
- Benefits package
- On-target earnings of $110,000 – $140,000+
