We are looking for someone special who can lead a new team at our newly beautifully renovated hotel in Prince George, BC. We need someone with the right experience to help grow the business by empowering and developing staff, ensuring the ultimate guest experience, and elevating the resort property.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Hotel Manager is responsible for effectively managing and overseeing all aspects of the hotel operations including financial performance, revenue management, customers’ enjoyment of accommodation, review of supply agreements, sales direction, human resources, and property maintenance.
The position will start immediately.

What does an ideal candidate look like?
- Sees the development potential in others and encourages their growth as a leader
- Has hotel experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role
- Post-Secondary Education in Hotel, Business management, or a related field is considered an asset
- Cares enough to confront situations when necessary
- Exhibits the highest level of integrity, sound judgment, resourcefulness, management, and confidence
- Strong desire to get things done
- Solid financial skills/experience, including revenue management, inventory management, hotel management systems, basic accounting, payroll, and reporting
- Demonstrates superior written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Skillful in managing high tension situations with diplomacy, tact, and patience
- Excellent investigative, problem solving and strategic skills
- Flexible and able to respond to unique and complicated situations
- Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementing skills
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
