Role and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and service-focused People Solutions Specialist to join our People & Culture team in an 14-month term position. This position reports to the Manager People Solutions and can be based out of any Prosperity Credit Union location, with a preference for the role to be based out of our Outlook service location.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional recruitment and onboarding experiences while providing administrative and operational support to the People & Culture team. You will work closely with hiring leaders across the organization to ensure efficient, consistent, and people-focused processes.
As a People Solutions Specialist, you will:
Support Recruitment and Onboarding Excellence
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment administration, including job postings, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offer letter preparation
- Partner with hiring managers by providing recruitment guidance, templates, and timely follow-up throughout the hiring process
- Maintain recruitment records, applicant tracking, and documentation in accordance with privacy and retention requirements
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee
- Manage new hire resources, including welcome packages and the Prosperity swag store
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new employees, responding to onboarding-related questions and providing a positive first impression
Provide Administrative and Operational Support
- Deliver administrative support to the People & Culture team through document preparation, data entry, reporting, and filing
- Maintain employee records, reports, and tracking tools with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and follow-up activities to support People & Culture initiatives
- Assist with updates to policies, templates, and internal resources
Contribute to Continuous Improvement
- Support the implementation of People & Culture projects and initiatives by coordinating assigned activities and tracking deliverables
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative efficiencies and employee-facing processes
- Assist with reporting, compliance activities, and other departmental projects as required

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Two to four years of experience in Human Resources, recruitment coordination, or an administrative support role
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while building effective relationships with leaders and employees
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Pay: $67,064.00-$83,830.00 per year
