Roxy Rover Pet Spaw is looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our friendly, family-run salon in Calgary’s SW.
We’re a busy, well-established salon with amazing clients, a supportive team, and a positive work environment where both dogs and groomers are treated with kindness and respect.
We believe great grooming is about more than a haircut—it’s about building trust, creating a positive experience, and helping every dog leave feeling comfortable, confident, and loved.

What You’ll Be Doing
✔Groom dogs from start to finish with care and attention to detail.
✔Create styles that suit each dog’s coat, lifestyle, and owner’s preferences.
✔Work safely and patiently with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities.
✔ Educate pet parents on coat care and realistic grooming expectations.
✔ Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.
✔ Help support the team with bookings, client communication, and daily salon tasks when needed.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
✔ Has at least 2 years of professional grooming experience.
✔ Can confidently complete full grooms independently.
✔ Has excellent scissoring and finishing skills.
✔ Is comfortable working with a variety of breeds and coat types.
✔ Is patient, compassionate, and always puts the dog’s well-being first.
✔ Provides outstanding customer service.
✔ Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
✔ Is reliable, organized, and thrives in a busy salon.
Bonus points if you also groom cats!

Requirements
- Grooming certification.
- Your own grooming tools.
- Ability to safely handle dogs up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Comfortable grooming approximately 4–6 dogs per day, depending on breed, coat condition, and grooming style.
