Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed 310S / 310T Mechanic to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of heavy and industrial equipment, providing essential maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with various machinery, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Experience in dealership settings, heavy equipment operation, and electrical systems is highly valued. This role is integral to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet and machinery across multiple industries.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs on automotive systems, electrical components, HVAC units, and welding projects as needed
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble, repair, or assemble machinery
- Heavy lifting of parts and equipment to facilitate repairs or replacements
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing diagnostic tests on industrial equipment
- Support the installation of new machinery or components following schematics and technical specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and solutions effectively
Qualifications
- Valid 310S / 310T mechanic license with relevant certifications
- Dealership experience preferred but not required; extensive mechanic experience is essential
- Proven ability to work with excavators, cranes, Caterpillar equipment, forklifts, HVAC systems, and farm machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in automotive repair and industrial maintenance
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy or industrial equipment proficiently
- Electrical experience and welding skills are highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients or internal teams as needed
