Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects at various stages in construction effectively. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering successful projects that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as BuilderTrend.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation.
- Prepare and review construction estimates.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate clear communication and project alignment.
- Utilize construction management software like BuilderTrend and other industry tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor safety protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality aligns with project specifications.
- Manage project schedules proactively to meet deadlines while adjusting plans as necessary.
- Organize project start/completion tasks with other personnel to ensure company standards are maintained throughout the construction process.
- Manage and coordinate daily task reporting, client sign-offs, and change order approvals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating and project management tools such as BuilderTrend, JobTread and other.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial construction principles and best practices.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
