We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our project sites, ensuring smooth workflow and safety compliance. The ideal candidate is physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with general site cleanup, including debris removal and material organization
- Support skilled tradespeople by carrying tools, materials, and equipment as needed
- Perform basic construction or maintenance tasks under supervision
- Prepare work areas for upcoming tasks by setting up necessary supplies and safety barriers
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or manual labour is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
