Aim Pediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary pediatric centre providing evidence-based, child-centred services in a collaborative and supportive environment. We specialize in early intervention and support children with diverse developmental needs through play-based, functional, and family-focused approaches.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team.
Role Overview
The OTA will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to support the implementation of individualized treatment plans for children. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about pediatric therapy, enjoys hands-on work, and values teamwork and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement OT treatment plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Support children in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills
- Prepare therapy materials and set up engaging, goal-directed activities
- Collect session data and provide feedback to the supervising OT
- Support carryover of skills in a natural, play-based environment
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy space
- Communicate professionally with team members and families as required
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant / OTA / OTA-PTA program
- Experience working with children (pediatric experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and accept feedback
- Organized, reliable, and professional
- Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in pediatric clinics, early intervention, or school settings
- Familiarity with sensory integration and play-based therapy approaches
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $29.00-$37.00 per hour
