Sharp Snow Removal and Landscaping is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our growing company. This position focuses on year-round property maintenance services for residential and commercial clients. During the spring, summer, and fall, your primary responsibilities will include lawn and landscape maintenance, with opportunities to assist with landscaping and hardscape installation projects. During the winter months, you'll assist with residential and commercial snow removal and winter property maintenance.
This position is part-time to start, with opportunities for additional hours, overtime during busy periods, and the potential for full-time, year-round employment as our company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, trimming and edging
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Spring and fall property cleanups Garden bed maintenance and weed control
- Minor tree pruning and cleanup
- Sod installation
- Tree and shrub planting
- Decorative rock and mulch installation
- Assisting with patio, paver and retaining wall installations
- Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment
- Safely operating lawn care and landscaping equipment
- Safely driving company vehicles to and from job sites
- Towing and backing equipment trailers
- Performing routine cleaning and basic maintenance of company equipment
- Residential and commercial snow removal during the winter season
- Assisting with other property maintenance and landscaping projects as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence (required)
- Clean driver's abstract (required)
- Reliable, dependable and punctual
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Physically fit and able to perform outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Landscaping, lawn care, snow removal or construction experience is an asset
- Experience operating lawn care and landscaping equipment is an asset
- Experience towing and backing trailers is considered a strong asset
- Commitment to working safely and providing quality workmanship
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Wages & Benefits
- $17.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Part-time to start with opportunities for additional hours

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
