Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will lead the estimating process for large-scale projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids. This role requires a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation, with proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam. The Senior Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive cost estimates that align with project scope and client expectations.
Duties
- Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Utilize Bluebeam and other estimating software to develop accurate cost models.
- Conduct thorough market research to determine current pricing for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
- Collaborate with project management teams to review project scope and identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in the development of bid strategies and review bid packages for completeness and competitiveness.
- Provide mentorship to junior estimators and support team members in complex estimating tasks.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, assumptions, and supporting documentation for future reference.
Experience
- Minimum 5 Years experience as an Estimator in the ICI sector for a General contractor is required.
- Experience with industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and other estimating or project management software.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to optimize project costs.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials pricing, labor rates, and industry standards.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
- Background in project management is preferred but not mandatory; a solid understanding of construction workflows is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Pay: $85,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
