Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Utility Wash Worker to join our Maintenance team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our fleet of transit buses.
Please note that this position works evening and weekend shifts.
DUTIES: Cleans the interior and exterior of buses; performs routine checks; records and reports fluid levels, tire quality, mileage and physical damage to coaches; empties cash boxes; conducts visual check for loose wheels and lugs; fuels coaches; and performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work with minimum supervision; graduation from high school supplemented by some experience in general cleaning and record-keeping or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Physical qualifications include ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.; ability to tolerate temperature changes; and ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, walk, climb, crouch, stand, kneel, reach and balance. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with Class 02 permit and class 09 air brake endorsement.
